PHILGUARANTEE loan guarantee claims for evaluation and payment processing reached P1.094 Billion for 2020

Philippine Guarantee Corporation (PHILGUARANTEE) has evaluated and processed a total of P1.094 Billion in loan guarantee claims from January to December 2020. PHILGUARANTEE covered loans of small farmers/fisherfolk, small businesses (SMEs) and low-cost/socialized housing borrowers against risk of loss by providing sovereign credit guarantee to the accredited lending banks and financial institutions. In the past years, the state-owned financial institution paid loan guarantee claims of accredited lending banks and financial institutions exceeding Php 2.6 billion.
