PHILGUARANTEE and the Italian Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines Inc. (ICCPI) signs MOU: A partnership to support Philippine-Italian business opportunities

PHILGUARANTEE and the Italian Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines Inc. (ICCPI), represented by President and CEO Alberto Pascual and Executive Director Lorens Ziller, respectively, formalized their partnership through a ceremonial signing held on April 25, 2024. Stood as witnesses were ICCPI President Sergio Boero and PHILGUARANTEE Senior Vice President for the Priority Sectors Guarantee Group, Celso Gutierrez.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed outlines the principles governing their collaborative efforts of a shared commitment to facilitate and promote business opportunities between the Philippines and Italy. The efforts will include support for government priority projects, and real estate transactions, emphasizing the importance of implementing cooperation activities in accordance with the guidelines and policies of both parties.

In addition to the cooperative endeavors outlined in the MOU, ICCPI has pledged for corporate membership, and visibility through ICCPI’s communication channels. The ceremonial signing marks a significant milestone in the journey towards strengthening Philippine-Italian business ties.
