GCG Commissioner highlights nationalism, integrity at PHILGUARANTEE Flag Ceremony

Governance Commission for GOCCs (GCG) Commissioner Atty. Geraldine Marie Berberabe-Martinez has graced the Philippine Guarantee Corporation (PHILGUARANTEE) Flag raising ceremony on Monday, April 7, 2025, as part of PHILGUARANTEE’s dedication to honoring the commitment of its employees.

The ceremony, which took place as part of PHILGUARANTEE’s employee recognition activity, celebrated the year-long contributions of public servants.

Martinez said in her speech.

A significant highlight of the event was the recognition of PHILGUARANTEE’s loyalty awardees. The loyalty award recognizes officials and employees in government, state colleges, universities, and government-owned and controlled corporations (GOCCs) who have served continuously for 10 years or more.

In addition to the awards, the ceremony also included the formal swearing-in of the newly elected officers of the PHILGUARANTEE Employees’ Association (PGCEA). As the exclusive negotiating body for the rank-and-file employees of PHILGUARANTEE, the PGCEA plays a vital role in advocating for the welfare of its members.

The event celebrated the unwavering dedication of long-serving employees and highlighted the Corporation’s commitment to empowering and advancing employee relations and advocacy.
