PHILGUARANTEE has made significant progress in enhancing its support for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) as of mid-2024. PHILGUARANTEE’s credit guarantee programs are designed to enhance credit availability from the banking sector while simultaneously providing Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) with essential working capital to stimulate their growth.
Officers from PHILGUARANTEE and the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) met in Makati City last July 17 to further strengthen the ongoing partnership of both institutions, further enhancing opportunities between PHILGUARANTEE and BPI, the latter being one of the leading Partner Lending Institutions (PLI) under the HGG for over three decades.
PHILGUARANTEE, the country’s principal agency for state guarantee finance, has reached a cumulative total credit guarantees amounting to Php 252.41 Billion providing financial support to more than 464,000 socialized and low cost housing loan borrowers, MSMEs, and small farmers and fisherfolk, as of June 2024.
