Finance Secretary and PHILGUARANTEE Chairperson Ralph G. Recto met with the PHILGUARANTEE senior management led by PCEO Alberto E. Pascual on June 4, 2024, at the Department of Finance (DOF) Office in Manila.

PHILGUARANTEE senior officers briefed Secretary Recto on the institutional mandate, key performances over the last five years, socio-economic contributions and financial performance. The Chairperson was also informed on PHILGUARANTEE’s 2023-2025 Strategic Pillars and Sustainable Institutional Goals, as well as the robust credit guarantee support it extended to its beneficiaries Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), socialized and low-cost housing borrowers, small farmers and fisherfolks and other priority sectors through its Partner Lending Institutions (PLIs).

PHILGUARANTEE was awarded a Certificate of Recognition for its valuable contribution to the National Government, making it in the Top 20 GOCC’s with over a billion-peso dividend remittance.
