PHILGUARANTEE welcomes SHDA Board of Governors and Officers in Courtesy Call, shares plan to promote opportunities in housing developments

Philippine Guarantee Corporation (PHILGUARANTEE) President and CEO Alberto E. Pascual and the management welcomed the newly elected Board of Governors and officers of the Subdivision and Housing Developers Association (SHDA), Inc. during a courtesy visit to PHILGUARANTEE Headquarters in Makati City on February 13, 2024 (Thursday).
PCEO Pascual highlighted the recent engagement of PHILGUARANTEE with SHDA during the 32 nd National Developers’ Convention in Davao City last October 2024 where he served as a keynote speaker and a panelist on guarantee scheme for housing
developments. He expressed that “it was a valuable opportunity to discuss housing credit guarantees that can be leveraged to support the growth of the housing sector.”
PCEO Pascual also mentioned that PHILGUARANTEE was able to provide 500-Billion housing loan guarantee by December 2024, with almost 50% contributed by SHDA member developers.
Emphasizing the value of collaboration and commitment, SHDA President Engr. Francis Richmond Villegas shared their key strategic plans and advocacies focused on sustainable and urban housing. He expressed that “it’s an honor to be here today as we
strengthen the collaboration between SHDA and PHILGUARANTEE in pursuit of a shared vision, providing quality, decent, and affordable housing for every Filipino”. Engr. Villegas emphasized that they are confident that through continued partnership
PHILGUARANTEE and SHDA can build not just houses but communities.
Both PHILGUARANTEE and SHDA discussed opportunities to strengthen their cooperation in promoting and supporting inclusive and sustainable urban development.
PCEO Alberto Pascual acknowledged SHDA’s contributions and assured PHILGUARANTEE’s continued support, recognizing the need for a unified approach to address challenges and drive meaningful progress in the housing sector.
